CRITIS 2015 hat vier Themenschwerpunkte. Die Themenkategorie 1, "Resilience and protection of cyber-physical systems" (Widerstandsfähigkeit und Schutz von cyber-physikalischen Systemen), deckt die Fortschritte in den klassischen CIIP-Sektoren Telekommunikation, Cyber-Systeme und Elektrizitätsinfrastrukturen ab. Für Themenkategorie 2, "Advances in C(I)IP policies and best practices in C(I)IP" (Fortschritte bei C(I)IP-Richtlinien und beste Praxis in C(I)IP), sind wir speziell an den Perspektiven der Stakeholder interessiert. In Themenkategorie 3, "General advances in C(I)IP" (Allgemeine Fortschritte in C(I)IP), suchen wir ausdrücklich Beiträge aus weiteren KRITIS-Sektoren wie Energie, Transport und Smarte gebaute Infrastruktur, und decken auch Sektor übergreifende CI(I)P Aspekte ab.

Im Jahr 2013 hat die Konferenzserie CRITIS damit begonnen, Beiträge junger Experten und Forscher zu fördern (“Young CRITIS”). Dies wurde 2014 noch verstärkt durch die Verleihung des ersten CIPRNet Young CRITIS Award (CYCA). Als vierten Fokus werden wir beide Aktivitäten im Rahmen der CRITIS 2015 fortsetzen, da unser anspruchsvolles multi-disziplinäres Forschungsfeld aufgeschlossenen Nachwuchs braucht.
